PUZZLES STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

“If exercise could be packed into a pill, it would be the single most widely prescribed and beneficial medicine in the nation”. – Dr Robert Butler, founder of the National Institute on Ageing. Yet only half of individuals living with a disability meet the exercise recommendations despite having a higher incidence of health problems than those living without a disability. When asked ‘why’ it wasn’t because they didn’t want to exercise or they didn’t know what the health benefits were. It was because they felt they didn’t have a place where they could participate, a coach to mentor them or a friend to go on the journey with. That’s why Puzzles was formed.
